Introduction
We’re all familiar with science projects from our school days. Every month, kids are assigned a new model. Well, did you ever get a task to make a Greenhouse working model for a science project?
The greenhouse model is one of the most interesting science models. We understand that it could appear difficult for kids to prepare, but it is actually not.
You can make your model with just a few common materials available at your house. In this post, we will tell you how you can build a Greenhouse working model in just a few hours. So give this post a quick read.
Supplies
You will need the below-written materials if you want to make this science project.
Tools
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
Materials
- Cardboard
- Tracing Paper: White and Green
- Artificial plants
Steps To Make Greenhouse Working Model For Science Project
If you want to make a Greenhouse working model, you just have to follow the below written steps:
Step 1: Cut out 6 strips of cardboard, 15× 1cm long
Cut 6 strips
Step 2: Cut 12 strips of cardboard with a length of 25 ×1 cm.
Cut 12 strips
Step 3: Begin assembling the strips (the bigger one) into a rectangle as shown in the picture.
Make out a rectangle from strips
Step 4: To divide the rectangle, paste one more strip in the middle.
Divide the Rectangle
Step 5: Start putting the strips again back together (the short ones) to form a rectangle as indicated in the figure. Add the strip to divide it.
Make another Rectangle
Step 6: Then, as illustrated in the image, begin merging the rectangles.
Divide the Rectangle
Step 7: This is how it should appear.

Step 8: Cover the top with a sheet of green tracing paper.
Cover the top
Step 9: Cover the entire cabin in white tracing paper.
Cover the cabin
Step 10: Take two pieces of cardboard now. Begin adhering artificial plants on it.
Paste plants
Step 11: Apply both pieces of cardboard to the base. This is how it should appear.
Paste the two rectangles
Step 12: Place the hut on the base so that it covers both the plant cardboard and the base. And now you have a working model of a greenhouse.

Recommendations
Keep the following points in mind when you construct your model:
- Cut the pieces into equal lengths.
- Tracing paper should be handled with care because it is easily torn.
- Use glue carefully so that it is neat and tidy.
So it’s your time now to give it a try. By following these simple steps, you can easily make a Greenhouse working model for science a project.
