Firstly let us gather the materials and tools required to make this project.

  • Hardwood
  • Plywood
  • Stain and clear coat

Tools

  • Wood Glue
  • Clamps
  • Sharpie
  • Sharp Tools

Steps To Make A Carrom Board

Step 1: The first step is to cut the wooden pieces to 34 lengths.

Step 2: The second step is to trim all the wooden pieces from both sides.

Step 3: The third step is to attach all four pieces with the glue and stick them. Attach the clamps on all four sides.

Step 4: The fourth step is to cut the plywood in 34 x 34 square and then drill 1.75 holes at every corner.

Step 5: The fifth step is to draw the design layout with a pencil and then color it.

Step 6: The sixth step is to apply a clear coat on the plywood, which will give a better finish and highlight the entire carrom board.

Step 7: The last step is to stick all four wooden pieces and then let them dry.

Things To Remember

  • Make sure you cut the wooden pieces appropriately.
  • Make sure you sand the plywood before applying the coat.
  • After applying the coat, let the carrom board dry for at least four hours.
  • Once you stick all the wooden pieces on the carrom board, let it dry for twenty-four hours, and then start playing.
