Gathering the supplies is always the initial step before building any project. So, let us now look towards the supplies required to make a foam cutter.
Materials
- 9V Battery
- Popsicle sticks
- Switch
- Wires
- Spring
Tools
- Glue gun
- Scissors
- Tape
Steps To Make A Foam Cutter
Step 1: Apply glue in the middle of the battery.

Step 2: Stick one popsicle stick on the battery

Step 3: Chop down one side of the popsicle stick.
Cutting the Additional Popsicle Stick
Step 4: Repeat the same process and stick the popsicle stick at the bottom side of the battery.

Step 5: Take a small switch and attach it on top of the battery, as shown below.

Step 6: Attach one end of the wire on the battery and keep the remaining end open on the popsicle sticks. Repeat the same process for the bottom popsicle stick and stick it with the tape.

Step 7: Now, the next step is to open the spring and tie it towards both ends of popsicle sticks.

Step 8: Now, just simply press the switch and start cutting the foam.

- You need to make sure that all the connections are fixed appropriately.
