  • 2″ long, 1/4-20 Brass Bolt, 4
  • 1/4-20 Threaded Inserts, 4
  • Minwax Wipe-On Poly, Satin

Steps To Make A Modern Walnut And Leather Stool

Step 1: The first step is to mill the walnut wood and then cut the pieces according to the required sizes. There are 4 wooden pieces, out of which two will be used for legs, and the remaining two will be used for stretchers. In this tutorial, the legs are 24 ½ in length, and the stretchers are 18 5/8 in length.

Step 2: Use the half cap tool for connecting the leg pieces in the X-shape.

Step 3: The next step is to tape the wooden legs together and then drill the holes through the legs.

Step 4: The next step is to cut two pieces of dowels with 18 1/8 lengths using a miter saw.

Step 11: Use an edge Beveler and wooden slicker to give a finished look at the edges.

Step 12: Attach the leather in loops that will wrap the dowels.
