Mouse Trap is always used for hunting mice and placing them from one place to another. But today, we will build a creative method to move the mousetrap. So, in today’s article, we will teach you how to make a mousetrap car.


After looking at the agenda, let us now proceed toward the requirements list that is essential to make a mousetrap car.


  • Compass
  • Duct Tape
  • Elastic Bands or Rubber Bands


  • Four Eye Hooks
  • Heavy Cardboard
  • Mousetrap
  • Pilers
  • Dowels or Skewers
  • Utility Dowels

Steps To Make A Mousetrap Car

Step 1: The first step is to take a cardboard and cut it in a circular shape. It will be the wheels for our car. After creating circles, make tiny holes inside them.

Step 2: The second step is to remove the teeth and snap-arm from the mousetrap.

Step 3: In the next step, take thick cardboard, place the mouse trap over it, and then cut it.

Step 4: In the following step, attach the mousetrap to the cardboard and stick it using clear packaging tape.

Step 5: Now, take some eye hooks and fix them at the bottom of the chassis and align them.

Step 6: Take two skewers and insert them into the eye holes.

Step 7: Now, attach the wheels inside the skewers and then wrap them with the elastic band.

Step 8: Take a string and tie it with the mousetrap.
