Want to make a science model, but nothing new strikes your mind? If that’s the case, you are in the right place. Here we are going to make a satellite model for a science project. It is easy to make, and you also do not have to run here and there to gather the stuff required for making a satellite.
- Glue gun
- Colored Paper
- Double-sided tape
Steps To Make A Satellite Model For Science Project
Step 1: Take a cardboard and cut two rectangles of the following measurement.
Step 2: Cover it with origami papers in the way shown in the picture. Paste it on the cardboard. Instead of using paper, you can choose to color it.
Step 3: Make a box of cardboard as shown below.
Step 4: Cut out a ‘C’ from a paper of width 2-3 cm. And stick its end with each other.
Step 5: Now, make a circle of diameter 3 cm and wrap it with origami paper.
Step 6: Stick it to the funnel you prepared
Step 7: Now, make a small circle and stick a circular tab over it.
Step 8: Now, take three straws and do as instructed below.
Step 9: Now, take two cardboards of different sizes and stick them to the box as shown below.
Step 10: Now, stick the funnels to it.
Step 11: Pierce a hole under the box and do the same with the disc and glue the stick at both ends.
Step 12: Later, glue the satellite bars to the box.
As you can observe, making a satellite is quite an exciting task to do. Also, it is easier and cheaper to make. However, there are a few things to bear in mind while constructing it:
- Try to prepare the parts of the satellite beforehand.
- Stick everything properly.
- Follow the instructions carefully.
