How To Make A Triangular Treat Box

Introduction

Whether it is Halloween or your craftwork, triangular treat boxes are something beautiful. To make a triangular treat box at home, all you need is card stock, scoring tools, and some decorative material.

Supplies

Before moving ahead, let’s gather all the stuff altogether.

Tools

  • Scoring tool
  • Scissors
  • Crafting knife

Materials required

  • Glue
  • Double-sided tape
  • Crafting papers or designed papers
  • Lace
  • Card stock
  • Wooden scale or scoreboard
  • Designer paper
  • Ribbon

Steps To Make A Triangular Treat Box

Step 1: Take an A-4 size sheet and make a rough sketch of the actual measurement. Keep the sheet vertically and mark two points at 2 and 4 inches. Then take the measurements horizontally at distances 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8 inches.

Step 2: Place the card stock on the scoreboard and groove the lines of the exact measurements as taken on the rough sketch. Look at the picture for reference.

Step 3: At the back of the card stock, sketch the lines as shown below.

Step 4: Now groove it from the front side. So as to prepare the triangular portion of the box.

Step 5:  Now fold the lines

Step 6:  Now, cut the tab over the line to make the required fold.

Step 7: Now cut the strip as shown below.

Step 8: The required piece should look like this.

Step 9:  Use double-sided tape to stick the sides of the triangular box.

Step 10: Decorate it with the help of lace or ribbon.
