Steps To Make A Wedding Program Booklet
Once you’ve assembled your materials, let’s get started. Making a wedding program booklet is a straightforward process if you follow the directions carefully:
Step 1: To begin, download a wedding booklet template and customize the wording to fit your event. After you’ve finished modifying, print the template on 8.5 x 11 paper, either plain or with a nice textured background. Afterward, when the printing is completed, cut the sheet into 3 equal halves, as can be seen in the image, to split the distinct text parts.
Download the template
Step 2: Additionally, cut a strip of white parchment the same size as that of the pages for a romantic transparent overlay on top of the booklet. Lastly, cut a matching cardstock rectangle slightly larger than the booklet sheets.
Pile it up
Step 3: Once everything is trimmed and piled, it’s time to put it together. Coordinate all of the upper edges of one set of sheets, along with the vellum and card stock. Next, punch two slots in the bundle with a 1/4″ rectangular punch, about 1/2″ apart and 1/2″ down at the top. And that’s where your ribbon will go. A wider, circular hole may be required if your fabric is thicker.
Punch holes
Step 4: Starting from the front, poke both lengths of the ribbon through the gaps. Place the bundle face-down on the tabletop with the ribbon pointing up and the backside of the booklet in view.
Insert the ribbon
Step 5: Grab the left ribbon and shove it through the right-hand hole, so that it emerges from the front. Then, using the right-hand ribbon, push it through the left-hand hole creating a criss-cross of ribbon on the backside of the booklet. When you turn the booklet over, both ends protrude from the front. Pull those tightly and securely.
Pull the ribbon
Step 6: Ensure the intertwined ribbons are level and smooth on the reverse of the card. Your wedding program booklet is complete and ready to be handed out to the guests.
