Introduction
This tutorial will show you how to make an electric hand blender at home with readily available material. An electric blender is a kitchen appliance used to blend the cake mixture, chocolate, coffee, making and mixing the drinks. But in the market, an electric blender is too costly. So, it is very important to learn how an electric blender works to make them at our home.
Supplies
To make the electric hand blender at home, we need some basic supplies, which is listed below;
Tools
- PVC pipe (40mm)
- DC motor
- DC socket
- Pipe sheet
- Toggle switch
- Press switch
- Shaft adaptor
- Battery 7.4v
- Scissor/cutter
- Soldering iron
- Screw
- Screwdriver
Materials
- Egg mixture
- Wire
- Fevicol
- Compass
Steps To Make An Electric Hand Blender At Home
Step 1: Take a pipe sheet and make three circles in the size of the circumference of the PVC pipe.
Cut these circles using scissors
Step 2: Paste two circles with each other using fevicol and make holes in the sheet such that it fixes on the top of the DC motor.
Step 3: By fixing the pipe sheet, tight the screw using a screwdriver (as shown in the picture).

Step 4: Now connect two pairs of wires with a DC motor using a soldering iron.

Step 5: Now, make a hole in the PVC pipe according to the press switch’s size and fix it.
Step 6: Insert DC motor in PVC pipe and fix it with the help of fevicol.

Step 7: Connect a pair with a press switch and fix it again.
Step 8: Take the third pipe sheet circle and make holes according to the size of the DC socket & toggle switch and fix them with their screw ( as shown in the picture).

Step 9: Connect a small piece of wire with a DC socket and toggle switch.
Step 10: Connect one pair of wires with them and close it up and secure with fevicol.

Step 11: Now, attach the shaft adaptor to the DC motor’s string.
Step 12: Now, connect the egg mixture and a 7.4v battery with it.

When you are on the press switch, the egg mixture starts rotating. That shows the working of an electric hand blender.
Things To Remember
- Be careful while using soldering iron.
- Use the leftover material available at home.
- Be careful during the wire connection.
